Why do you shoot film?
I love film for its grain, movement, color, and imperfections. It asks me to slow down and photograph with intention.
How many photos will we receive?
Because I photograph on film, the number of images can vary slightly from session to session. Couples and family sessions typically receive around 60–70 photographs, while portrait sessions typically receive around 40–60 photographs. Weddings vary depending on coverage and the amount of film included in your collection.
Do you deliver RAW or unedited photos?
No. Your gallery includes the final photographs I’ve carefully selected for you. Film is professionally developed and scanned by a lab.
How long until we get our photos?
Wedding sneak peeks are typically delivered within 5–7 days (a little longer than digital previews because we have to wait for the film to be developed!). Completed wedding galleries are delivered within approximately 8–10 weeks. Session turnaround times may vary depending on the film lab's processing timeline.
How do we book?
Start by filling out my inquiry form! I'll respond within 3–5 days with availability and next steps. A 50% non-refundable retainer is due upon signing your contract to officially reserve your date.
Do you travel?
Yes! I’m based in Placerville, California and photograph throughout Northern California and beyond. Travel fees may apply depending on the location—tell me where you're thinking of having me and we can figure out the details.
What happens if something goes wrong with the film?
Film is a physical medium and isn’t completely predictable. I take every reasonable precaution when shooting, handling, and sending it to the lab, but unexpected issues can occasionally happen.
